본 연구의 목적은 대학생들의 정보윤리의식을 측정하고 과제표절 실태를 파악하여 교육과정에서 정보윤리의식을 함양할 수 있는 방법을 제시하는 데 있다. 본 연구에서는 정보윤리의식 측정 설문지와 과제표절 실태 설문지를 통하여 자료를 수집하였으며, 총 358명의 대학생이 참여하였다. 자료 분석 결과, 대학생들의 정 보윤리의식이 매우 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 영역별 응답을 연구 참여자의 성별, 학년, 인터넷 교육의 유무 등으로 집단 간에 차이점이 있는지 분산분석과 LSD 사후검정을 실시해 보았으나 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 없었다. 그러나 대학생들의 높은 정보윤리 의식에도 불구하고 과제표절 실태는 심각한 것으로 나타났다. 과제표절의 실태를 문항별로 분석한 결과, 응답자의 77%가 과제표절 경험이 있었고, 인터넷에서 자료를 다운받거나 다른 사람의 과제를 베껴서 제출한 경험이 가장 많았다. 과제표절의 이유는 과제의 양이 너무 많으나 시간이 없는 경우, 그리고 과제에 대한 피드백이 없기 때문이라고 응답하였다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 대학생의 정보윤리의식 교육과 실천에 관한 문제가 논의되었다.
The purpose of this study was to explore the levels of information ethics of university students and the phenomenon of plagiarism in the classrooms. To achieve the student goals, surveys were conducted with 358 students. According to the study results, the participants showed to have high levels of information ethics but 77% of the participants had experiences with plagiarism. They copy internet resources or other resources easily they do not have enough time to do their assignments. Most of students think it is natural phenomenon since instructors do not recognize such behaviors and they do not give any feedback for the assignments. Based on the study results, the importance of teaching and learning environments, implementation of internet ethics class, and promoting self-control competencies in the internet environments.
