주야간보호 서비스 만족도 영향요인 연구: 인력, 비용, 시설환경 요인을 중심으로

A Study on Influencing Factors on Service Satisfaction of Day and Night Care: Focusing on staffing, benefit cost, and facility environment factors

본 연구는 보호자의 주야간보호 서비스 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하는데 목적을 둔다. 인력 요인, 비용 요인 및 시설환경 요인 중에서 서비스 만족도를 가장 잘 설명하는 요인은 어떤 요인인지 파악하고자 한다. 본 연구의 대상은 노인장기요양보험 주야간보호 이용자의 보호자로서, 2021년도 국민건강보험공단 건강보험연구원의 ‘노인장기요양보험 주야간보호기능전문화 방안’연구 수행을 위해 수집한 자료 일부를 활용하였고, 위계적 다중회귀분석 방법을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 주야간보호 서비스 만족도는 전체 모델 설명력이 51.5%로 나타났다. 인력 요인과 비용 요인 및 시설환경 요인 중에서 보호자의 서비스 만족도를 가장 잘 설명하는 요인은 인력 요인이며, 그 다음으로 시설환경 요인, 비용요인의 순으로 나타났다. 특히 인력요인에서 직원의 전문성과 가족과의 의사소통 및 가족들의 의사 반영도는 서비스 만족도에 영향을 미치는 결정요인으로 분석되었다. 비용 요인에서 주목할 만한 부분은 서비스 이용 비용에 대한 만족감이 클수록 서비스 만족도가 높은 것으로 나 타났다. 시설환경 요인에서 최신시설과 장비의 충분성, 어르신들이 이용하기 편리한 구조 및 배려 공간 등이 서비스 만족도에 영향을 미치었다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 주야간보호기관에서 제공하는 서비스의 만족도를 제고할 수 있는 인력과 시설환경 기준의 강화, 급여비용의 적정성 및 다양한 서비스 지불방법 모색 등 관련 정책적․실천적 방향을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors influencing the day and night care service satisfaction of the caregiver. Among staffing factors, benefit cost factors, and facility environment factors, which factor best explains service satisfaction is to be identified. The subject of this study is the primary caregiver of long-term care insurance day and night care users for the elderly. Some of the data collected through the 2021 study of the National Health Insurance Service’s ‘The Function Specialization of the Day and Night Care in the Long-Term Care Insurance’ was used. A hierarchical multiple regression analysis method was performed. The analysis results of this study are as follows. Among staffing factors, benefit cost factors, and facility environment factors, the factor that best explains the service satisfaction of the primary caregiver is staffing factor, followed by facility environment factors and benefit cost factors in that order. In particular, in the staffing factor, the professionalism of the staff, communication with the family, and the degree of reflection of the family were analyzed as determinants that affect service satisfaction. As for the benefit cost factors, it was found that the higher the satisfaction with the cost of using the service, the higher the satisfaction with the service. In terms of facility environment factors, the latest facilities and sufficient equipment, a structure that is convenient for the elderly to use, and a caring space affected service satisfaction. Based on the research results, related policy and practical directions were suggested, such as strengthening staffing and facility environment standards, appropriateness of benefit costs, and seeking various service payment methods that can enhance the satisfaction of services provided by day and night care institutions.
