코로나19 전후 장애인의 취업 및 취업 유지 활동 참여 유형의 종단적 변화와 영향요인 탐색： 개인적, 장애 관련, 가족적, 심리적 요인을 중심으로

Exploring the Longitudinal Changes and Influencing Factors of the Type of Participation in Employment Activities of People with Disabilities before and after COVID-19 : Focusing on Personal, Disability-related, Familial, and Psychological Factors

본 연구는 코로나19 전후 장애인의 취업 및 취업 유지 활동 참여 유형을 분류하고, 유형 간의 전이 양상을 살펴보고자 각 유형의 개인적, 장애 관련, 가족적, 심리적 영향요인을 탐색하는 것에 목적을 두었다. 이에 본 연구는 SPSS 26.0과 Mplus 8.0을 사용하여 장애인고용패널조사 2차웨이브의 제4차와 제6차 데이터를 분석하였다. 분석 결과 첫째, 코로나19 이전 2019년도에 나타난 장애인의 취업 및 취업 유지 활동 참여 유형은 ‘이직 의지형’, ‘매체 활용형’, ‘소극적 참여형’으로, 코로나19 이후 2021년도의 유형은 ‘이직 의지형’, ‘매체 활용형’, ‘소극적 참여형’, ‘적극적 참여형’으로 나타났다. 둘째, 2019년도의 이직 의지형은 2021년도의 적극적 참여형으로 전이될 확률 35.4%, 그대로 유지될 확률이 64.6%인 것으로 확인되었다. 또한, 이전 시점의 소극적 참여형은 이후 시점의 매체 활용형으로 6.2%, 이직 의지형으로 0.9%만큼 전이되었으며, 그대로 유지될 가능성은 92.9%에 달하는 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 이전 시점의 매체 활용형은 86.5%만큼 그대로 유지되었고, 이후 시점의 이직 의지형으로 2.9%와 적극적 참여형으로 10.7% 전이되었다. 셋째, 각 시점의 유형별 영향요인을 살펴보았을 때, 2019년도 유형에는 개인적, 가족적, 심리적 요인이, 2021년도 유형에는 개인적, 장애 관련 요인들의 영향력이 검증되었다. 본 연구는 이를 기반으로 팬데믹과 관련한 장애인의 취업 및 취업 유지 활동 참여에 대한 논의와 실천적, 정책적 제언을 제시하였다.

This study aimed to classify the multifaceted types of participation in employment activities of people with disabilities before and after COVID-19, then examine the transition patterns and the influencing factors of each classified type based on a biopsychosocial approach. Accordingly, the study analyzed the PSED 2nd Wave data set using SPSS 26.0 and Mplus 8.0. As a result, the types of participation in employment activities of people with disabilities were categorized into three classes before COVID-19 and four after. Second, the classes before COVID-19 showed a transition pattern to those derived after COVID-19. Lastly, the significant influence of personal, familial, and psychological factors on employment activities before COVID-19 was verified, while the influence of personal and disability-related factors was found after COVID-19. Based on these results, this study made discussions and practical/policy suggestions related to the participation of people with disabilities in employment activities during the pandemic.
