FPSP 평가 도구의 타당성 연구

Study in the Adequacy of the FPSP Assessment Tool

본 연구의 목적은 FPSP(Future Problem Solving Program)평가 도구를 이용하여 미래 문제해결 과정을 평가하고, 평가 준거의 타당성을 확인하기 위함이다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해서 첫째, FPSP 평가의 기준을 제시하고, 그 기준에 따라 창의적 문제해결의 단계를 측정하였다. 연구대상은 초등학생이고, 3명의 FPSP 전문 코치가 이들이 완성한 창의적 산출물을 단계별로 평가하였다. 여기서 사용된 토픽은 ‘유전자 검사’였다. 둘째, FPSP 평가도구의 타당성을 확인하기 위해서 신뢰도와 타당도를 검증하였다. 신뢰도를 확인하기 위해서는 채점자간 신뢰도가 사용되었고, 타당도를 검증하기 위해서는 내용타당도(CVI)지수를 확인하였다. 결과적으로 3명의 채점자간 신뢰도는 높은 수준으로 나타났고, 내용타당도 검증 과정에서 일부 평가자는 몇 개의 평가 기준이 수정될 필요가 있다고 하였지만, CVI 지수는 높은 수준으로 나타났다. 따라서 FPSP 평가 도구는 타당한 검사도구 라고 할 수 있다. 논의에서는 FPSP 평가에서 수정되어야 할 준거와 활용 방안을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 다양한 교과의 창의적 문제해결력을 평가하는데 유용하게 사용될 수 있으며, 교사가 학습자의 창의적 잠재력을 개발하도록 하는데 도움이 될 수 있을 것이다.

This study aimed to demonstrate and determine the adequacy of the FPSP(Future Problem Solving Program)assessment tool. The study starts with a stage by stage explanation and measurement of the assessment tool. The exposition includes a demonstration of three FPSP coaches’ evaluation of the same elementary school students’ work product. A future scenario(titled "Gene Test)" is used as a creative problem solving exercise. The next part of the study offers an evaluation of the reliability and validity of the assessment tool. The reliability is measured in terms of inter-rater reliability and the validity is measured in terms of CVI (Content Validity Index). The result is that all three evaluators showed a high level of inter-rater agreement. The CVI also indicated a high score. However, one evaluator expressed dissatisfaction with the formulations of some of the criteria included in the assessment tool. Overall, the assessment tool is found adequate in assessing creative problem solving work product. The discussion includes criteria that need to be corrected and an application of the FPSP assessment. The results imply that teachers in general may develop the creative potential and creative problem solving ability of their students by adapting this tool to a variety of content areas.
