특수학교 고교학점제 적용을 위한 학생 선택형 교육과정 편성 및 운영 방안 탐색

Exploring the Organization and Operation of Student-selective Curriculum for the High School Credit System in Special Schools

본 연구는 2025년 특수학교 고교학점제 전면 도입에 대비하여 특수교사들의 인식조사를 통해 선택과목 편성 및 운영 방안과 운영에 필요한 지원에 대해 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 현재 특수학교 고등학교 과정 특수교사들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 총 186명의 특수교사가 참여하였다. 조사결과, 특수교육대상학생의 진로 유형에 따라 일부 교과의 선택과목을 편성·운영하는 방안, 기존 교과 내에서 교육과정 재구성을 통해 선택과목을 개설하는 방안, 지역사회 학습장과 연계한 교육과정 운영 방안의 적절성이 비교적 높게 나타났다. 또한 교사들은 특수학교에서 고교학점제 적용을 위한 다양한 측면의 지원이 필요함을 제안하였다. 이러한 조사결과를 토대로 본 연구에서는 현재 특수학교 상황에서 학생 선택형 교육과정을 편성하고 효과적으로 운영할 수 있는 방안들을 제안하였다.

In order to prepare for the full introduction of the high school credit system in special schools in 2025, the purpose of this study is to explore the plans for organizing and operating elective courses and the necessary support through a survey on perceptions of special teachers. A survey was conducted targeting current high school special education teachers, and a total of 186 special education teachers participated. As a result of the survey, the appropriateness of organizing elective courses in some subjects according to the career type of students with disabilities was relatively high. In addition, the appropriateness of the plan to open elective courses through the reorganization of the curriculum and the plan in connection with the local community was found to be relatively high. Also, special teachers mentioned various practical difficulties in applying the high school credit system in special schools and emphasized the need for various aspects of support to solve them. Based on these survey results, this study presents ways to organize a student-selective curriculum and effectively operate it in the current special school situation.
