예비유아교사가 바라본 유아기 자녀를 둔 아버지의 되어가기 : 영화〈그렇게 아버지가 된다〉의 비평적 글쓰기를 중심으로

Becoming-father of early child from the perspective of pre-service early childhood teacher: focusing on the critical writing of the movie〈Like Father, Like Son〉

본 연구는 예비유아교사를 대상으로 영화〈그렇게 아버지가 된다〉의 비평적 글쓰기를 통해 유아기 자녀를 둔 아버지의 되어가기를 살펴보아 현대사회의 아버지를 이해하고 유아교육기관에서 실현할 아버지 교육 방안을 모색하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 B시에 소재하는 P대학 유아교육과 3학년 재학생이 작성한 비평적 글쓰기를 연구자료로 분석하였다. 예비유아교사는 아버지와 자녀가 시간을 공유하고(Time ↔ share), 서로 믿고 사랑하는 마음으로 연결되며(Mind ↔ chain), ‘나-너’의 관계로 만나는 사건을 통해 성장하면서(Event ↔ ripe) 아버지로 되어간다고 인식하였다. 따라서 본 연구는 예비유아교사가 유아기 자녀를 둔 아버지를 되어가는 존재로 바라보고 이러한 과정을 지지하며 응원하는 부모교육이 필요하다고 제안하였다.

The purpose of this study was to understand the role of fathers in modern society and to find ways to educate fathers by examining the process of becoming-father of early childhood through 〈Like Father, Like Son〉movie's critical writing written by pre-service early childhood teachers. This critical piece written by the 3rd graders of Early Childhood Education at P University located in B city was analyzed as research data. For pre-service early childhood teachers recognized that fathers and children spend time together (Time ↔ share), to be connected with mutual trust and love (Mind ↔ chain), and to grow through encounters with others (Event ↔ ripe). This study suggested that pre-service early childhood teachers view father of early childhood as beings who becoming-father, and that parental education is needed to support this process.
