보육교사의 그릿과 교사효능감이 심리적 소진에 미치는 영향

The Effects of Childcare Teachers' Grit and Teacher Efficacy on Psychological Burnout

본 연구는 보육교사의 그릿과 교사효능감, 심리적 소진과의 상관관계와 보육교사의 그릿과 교사효능감이 심리적 소진에 미치는 상대적 영향력에 대해 알아보는데 궁극적인 목적을 두고 있다. 연구대상은 경기도와 충청남도 보육교사 312명을 대상으로 하였다. 본 연구에 사용된 도구는 차화연(2019)이 그릿을 측정하기 위해 개발한 도구, 보육교사의 교사효능감을 측정하기 위해 김해리(2018) 교사효능감을 측정하기 위해 개발한 도구, 보육교사의 소진을 측정하기 위해 Msalach와 Jacson(1981)이 개발하고 강학구(1996)가 번안하고 정현정(2015)이 수정․보완한 MBI(Maslach Burnout Inventory) 도구를 사용하였다. 수집된 자료를 SPSS 26.0 통계 프로그램으로 신뢰도 분석과 기술 통계, 상관분석과 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 보육교사의 그릿과 교사효능감, 심리적 소진의 수준을 알아본 결과 그릿의 평균이 높게 나타났고, 교사효능감은 비교적 높게 나타났으며, 심리적 소진은 낮게 나타냈다. 둘째, 보육교사의 그릿과 교사효능감은 유의미한 정적 관계를 보였으며, 그릿과 심리적 소진 및 교사효능감과 심리적 소진은 유의미한 부적 관계를 나타냈다. 셋째, 그릿과 교사효능감이 보육교사의 심리적 소진에 미치는 영향력을 살펴본 결과, 통계적으로 유의미한 부적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구는 보육교사의 그릿과 교사효능감이 심리적 소진에 미치고 있는 영향을 근거로 심리적 소진을 예방할 수 있는 대안을 마련하였다는 연구의 의의를 갖는다.

The ultimate purpose of this study is to find out the correlation between grit, teacher efficacy, and psychological exhaustion of childcare teachers, and the relative influence of grit and teacher efficacy on psychological exhaustion of childcare teachers. The subjects of the study were 312 childcare teachers in Gyeonggi-do and Chungcheongnam-do. The tools used in this study were developed by Cha(2019) to measure grit and by Kim(2018) to measure teacher efficacy of childcare teachers. To measure the burnout of childcare teachers, a MiburnMach tool modified and supplemented by Jung(2015) was used. Reliability analysis, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were performed on the collected data using the SPSS 26.0. The results of this study are as follows. First, as a result of examining the level of grit, teacher efficacy, and psychological burnout of childcare teachers, the average of grit was high, teacher efficacy was relatively high, and psychological burnout was low. Second, there was a significant static relationship between the grit and teacher efficacy of childcare teachers, and there was a significant negative relationship between grit and psychological exhaustion and teacher efficacy and psychological exhaustion. Third, as a result of examining the influence of grit and teacher efficacy on the psychological burnout of childcare teachers, it was found to have a statistically significant negative effect. Therefore, this study is meaningful in that it has prepared an alternative to prevent psychological exhaustion based on the effect of the grit and teacher efficacy of childcare teachers on psychological exhaustion.
