Factors Related to Health-related Quality of Life of University Students

This study is a secondary data analysis study to analyze the factors related to health-related quality of life of university students. The study used raw data from the 2021 Community Health Survey. In this study, 8,157 university students were selected as study subjects. The raw data were analyzed after designing a composite sample. A multi-sample design regression analysis was conducted on the significant factors of general characteristics, health-related characteristics, and mental health-related characteristics of the study. As a result, college students showed significantly higher health-related quality of life when males were younger than females, the younger the age, the better the subjective health level, the higher the subjective stress perception level, the experience of depression, and the prevalence of depressive symptoms. The explanatory power of the model was 24.0%.
