승자각본 중도 시각장애인의 삶의 경험에 대한 생애사 연구

A Life History study on the Life an Adventitious Visual Impairment with a Winner’s Life Script

이 연구는 후천적으로 장애를 갖게 되고도 승자각본으로 사는 중도 시각장애인의 삶에 대한생애사 연구다. 인생이라는 무대 위에서 자신의 드라마를 만들며 살아가는 한 중도 시각장애인의 삶의 의미는 어떠하며 생애사 이야기를 통해 삶을 재구성 할 때 각본의 변화와 수정의 요인은 무엇인지 알고자 하는 것이 연구의 목적이다. 또한 생애사 연구의 이야기와 각본 이야기의 특성에 중점을 두며 생애사 이야기의 재구성 과정과 각본 이야기를 통한 각본 수정이 어떻게 연결점이 있는가를 살펴보았다. 자료 수집을 위해 연구 참여자와 4차례 인터뷰를 했고., 수집된 자료는 Mandelbaum의 생애사 분석 방법을 통해 ‘삶의 영역’, ‘전환점’, ‘적응’의 세 가지 영역으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과 삶의 영역에서는 ‘아버지와 어머니: 오늘 나를 있게 했고 또 내게 후회의 여지를 주다, 직업: 살아내기 위한 힘겨움과 새로운 도전의 장, 활동: 소통과 삶의 의미 제공’으로 분석하였다. 전환점 영역에서는 ‘장애 수용: 장애 정체성 확립, 받아들이기, 맹학교 입학을 통한 새로운 삶 개척하기: 적극적 자기개발, 세상에 혼자 발 내딛기: 새로운 도전과 희망, 삶의 만족’으로 분석하였고, 그리고 적응 영역에서는 ‘후회 없는 삶 살기: 현재의 삶에 만족하기, 중도 시각장애인의 삶: 불편하지만 살아볼 만함, 직업 속 자기 삶 재발견: 하고 싶은 일 하기, 희망으로 분석하였다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 생애사 연구의 필요성과 실천방안의 논의를 제시하였다.

This study is a lifelong history study of the lives of people with mid-visual disabilities who live with the winner’s script even if they become acquired disabilities. The purpose of the study is to find out what the meaning of life is for the visually impaired, and what are the factors behind the change and modification of the script when reconstructing life through the story of life history. We also focused on the characteristics of the story and the script story of the lifelong history study and looked at how the reconstruction process of the life history story and the revision of the script through the script story were connected. We conducted four interviews with research participants to collect data, and analyzed the collected data into three areas: “Life Area,” “Turnaround Point,” and “Adaptation” through Mandelbaum’s life history analysis method. As a result of the analysis, in the field of life, “Father and mother: making me stay today and giving me room for regret, occupation: hard work to survive and new challenges, activities: communication and meaning of life.” “Accepting disability: establishing disability identity, accepting, developing a new life through admission to blind school: active self-development, taking a step into the world: new challenges and hopes, and satisfying life.” Based on the results of the research, we presented discussions on the necessity of lifelong history research and practical measures.
