이중 잠재계층분석을 적용한 원격수업 장단점 경험의 탐색적 연구: H 대학 사례를 중심으로

An Exploratory Study on the Advantages and Disadvantages of Remote Learning Using Dual Latent Class Analysis: Focusing on the Case of H University

본 연구는 대학 교수·학습과정 질 관리 조사(NASEL)에 참여한 H 대학 재학생 725명을 대상으로 이중 잠재계층분석을 적용하여 원격수업 장점과 단점요인의 잠재계층을 파악하고 이들의 관계를 살펴보는 데 있다. 분석 결과, 먼저 원격수업 장점요인과 단점요인을 토대로 각각 잠재계층분석을 수행한 결과 장점과 단점 모두 2개 유형으로 분류되었다. 둘째, 이중 잠재계층분석을 통해 도출된 잠재계층은 4개 유형이었으며 도출된 유형 간에 원격수업 장단점 지표 및 개인별 특성 차이가 있음을 확인하였다. 본 연구 결과는 원격수업 경험에 대해 다차원적으로 접근하여 다양한 유형이 존재한다는 사실과 상호작용의 영향력을 경험적으로 확인하였다는 데 의의가 있으며 연구의 제한점을 제시하여 후속 연구 필요성에 대해 제언하였다.

The purpose of this study was to identify the latent classes of the advantages and disadvantages of remote learning using dual latent class analysis and to examine their relationship. The subjects of the study were 725 students from H University who participated in NASEL. The analysis results are as follows: First, the latent classes for the advantages and disadvantages of remote learning were classified into two, respectively. Second, four latent classes were found as the advantages and disadvantages of remote learning were combined. Third, the main variable classifying the types was interaction, and individual characteristics were different for each type. This study can be useful in that they examined the experience of remote learning in a multidimensional approach.
