국내외 MOOC 특성과 학습경험 비교에 관한 사례연구

A case study on the comparison of course characteristics and learning experiences between MOOCs

본 연구는 국내 MOOC에 대한 질적 개선 및 해외 MOOC 플랫폼으로의 진입·성장을 위한 초석 연구로서, 국내외 MOOC 특성을 비교하고, 수강 과정에서 느낀 학습자의 학습경험에 대해 내용분석을 하였다. 연구수행을 위해 모니터링단을 모집·선정하여 인문계열 유사내용을 다루는 국내 MOOC 2개 강좌와 해외 MOOC 2개 강좌를 동시에 수강하며 주차별 모니터링 활동보고서를 매주 정기적으로 작성하게 하였다. 연구결과 도출을 위해 모니터링 활동보고서의 내용을 분석하는 것은 물론 분석한 내용의 재확인 및 구체적인 의견을 파악하고자 구조화 및 비구조화 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 학습자가 느낀 학습경험을 통해 국내외 MOOC에 대한 다양한 측면에서의 공통점과 차이점을 탐색하였고, 국내 MOOC의 활성화 및 글로벌화를 위한 시사점을 도출하였다.

This study compares the characteristics of domestic MOOC and foreign MOOC and analyzes the learning experiences of learners as basic research for the qualitative improvement of domestic MOOC and growth into foreign MOOC. A monitoring group was recruited and selected to conduct the research, and the monitoring activity reports were written while studying the domestic MOOC and foreign MOOC simultaneously analyzed, and structured and unstructured interviews were conducted to analyze the in-depth learning experience. Through the learning experience felt by learners while completing the domestic MOOC and foreign MOOC, the similarities, and differences in various aspects were explored, and implications for the activation and globalization of domestic MOOC were derived.
