A Study of the Relationship between the Colour Vision Deficiency and Creativity of Design and Technology Students

A study of the relationship between the colour vision deficiency and creativity of design and technology students was conducted in secondary schools. The results indicate that, among the eight traits of creativity defined by Gilbert (1998), there is no significant difference in the creativity of students with colour vision deficiency and those without. Although deficient students may need special attention to help them cope with certain learning difficulties, this does not mean that they should be deprived of their right to learn about or work in creativity-related disciplines.
