The educational system in Singapore has undertaken major initiatives to introduce far-reaching curricula changes to promote creative and critical thinking in students. This paper describes an institution-wide pilot project, which aimed at developing a thinking model appropriate to vocational education. The paper has several parts. First, it provides an overview of the pilot project against the backdrop of educational reforms in Singapore. It then describes one of the pilot modules, the Product Design module, by providing a summary of the tutorial lessons, to illustrate the infusion methodology used to teach thinking in content instruction. Finally, it concludes with an evaluation of the pilot and reflections on considerations for future develop-ment.
