Studies have shown that students who possess good thinking dispositions tend to do well academically thus there arises a need to help students cultivate these thinking dispositions. Although research has suggested activities that may enculturate thinking dispositions, no framework to date has been suggested to help teachers do so in the classroom. This paper attempts to explore the tools, roles and rules based on available literature that may help to enculturate thinking dispositions using activity theory as the framework.
