청소년의 성격특성, 사회적 지지, 사회적 문제해결 역량이 긍정심리자본을 매개로 한 학교생활적응에 미치는 영향

An Analysis of Personality Trait, Social Support, and Social Problem-Solving Capacity on Positive Psychological Capital, and School Adjustment of Adolescents

본 연구는 성격특성, 사회적지지, 사회적 문제해결 역량이 청소년의 학교생활 적응에 미치는 영향관계에서 긍정심리자본의 매개기능을 살펴보고자 한다. 본 연구와 유사한 변인들을 사용하여 긍정심리자본의 매개기능을 분석하고 있는 선행연구들을 기초로 판단하면, 성격특성, 사회적지지, 사회적 문제해결 역량은 긍정심리자본과 학교생활적응에 긴밀한 관련성이 존재할 가능성이 있음을 예측할 수 있다. 그러나 현재까지 청소년의 성격특성, 사회적지지, 사회적 문제해결 역량이 긍정심리자본 및 학교생활적응에 미치는 영향과 긍정심리자본의 매개기능을 분석한 연구는 존재하지 않고 있다. 이에 이 연구에서는 청소년의 성격특성, 사회적지지, 사회적 문제해결 역량을 원인변수로, 긍정심리자본을 매개변수로, 학교생활적응을 결과변수로 하는 변수 간 구조적 관계를 분석하고자 한다. 실증 분석 결과, 원인변수인 3가지 성격 특성 변수, 3가지 사회적지지 변수, 회피적 문제해결 기술을 제외한 3가지 사회적 문제해결 역량은 학교생활 적응에 중요 영향 변인이 되는 것으로 나타나고 있다. 동시에 3가지 성격 특성 변수, 3가지 사회적지지 변수, 회피적 문제해결 기술을 제외한 3가지 사회적 문제해결 역량은 긍정심리자본을 통해 학교 생활 적응력을 높이는 것으로 나타나서 원인 및 결과변수 사이에서 매개변수의 기능을 수행하는 것으로 나타나고 있다. 따라서 이 연구는 입시 위주의 획일적이고 성과 중심적인 교육 환경 하에서, 청소년들의 학교생활 적응력과 긍정 심리자본을 높일 수 있는 시사점을 제시하고 있다는 점에서 연구 의미를 찾을 수 있다.

An Analysis of Personality Trait, Social Support, and Social Problem-Solving Capacity on School Adjustment of Adolescents. The aims of the study is to analyze personality trait, social support, and social problem-solving capacity on positive psychological capital, and school adjustment of adolescents in school organization. Personality traits are consist of conscienentiousness, agreeableness, and extroversion. Social supports are consist of family support, friend support, and teacher support. Social problem-solving capacity is consist of two part. The one is problem orientatin. The other is problem solving skill. Problem orientatin is consist of affirmative and negative problem orientatin. Problem solving skill is consist of rational and evasive problem solving skill. The outcome variable is consist of school adjustment. The mediating variable is consist of positive psychological capital. Here, we hypothesized the influencing variables effect positive psychological capital and school adjustment, and then positive psychological capital mediates between the influencing variables and school adjustment. Based on these causal relation among these variables, we set a hypothesized research model. This research adopted the questionnaire survey methods for empirical analysis. For this research we implemented a survey with 402 middle and high school students in the Busan. This research adopted a structural equation modeling for the causal analysis of the related variables. The research uses SPSS & Amos statistical programs for empirical analysis. The results of the study shows that the influencing variables of personality trait, social support, social problem-solving capacity impacts not only on school adjustment but also on positive psychological capital as a mediator. These results mean that the positive psychological capital connects the influencing and outcome variables. Futhermore, positive psychological capital functions as a mediating variables between the influencing and outcome variables.
