뇌교육 기반 대안학교 졸업생들의 진로적응과정에 관한 근거이론 연구

A grounded theory study on the career adaptation process of graduates of alternative schools based on Brain Education

본 연구는 뇌교육 기반 대안학교 졸업생들의 졸업 후 진로적응과정을 근거이론으로 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위하여 A 대안학교 졸업생 11명을 심층 면담 하여 근거이론의 방법으로 분석하였다. 면담 자료에 의한 개방코딩 결과 111개의 하위범주와 33개의 하위 범주, 15개의 상위범주가 도출되었으며, 이를 축코딩하여 근거이론의 패러다임 모형으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과 중심 현상은 ‘진로를 찾기 위한 시도와 도전’,‘고난의 연속’으로 나타났으며 이를 이끄는 인과적 조건은 ‘졸업 후에도 이어지는 진로 고민’이었다. 맥락적 조건은 ‘진로를 찾기 위해 선택한 환경’,‘진로와 연결된 대학’,‘감염병 상황의 영향’이었으며 작용/상호작용은 ‘자기계발을 위해 노력하기’,‘적극적인 학교생활’,‘자신을 일으켜 세우는 마인드컨트롤’,‘스스로 만드는 터닝포인트.’,‘자기성찰을 통한 결단’으로 나타났다. 중재적 조건으로는 ‘학교에서 체득한 배움’,‘주변 사람들의 지원과 격려’였다. 결과로는 ‘노력의 결실과 성장’,‘나의 길을 찾음’이었다. 과정 분석 결과 도전→장벽→극복→적응의 과정을 반복하면서 발견→성장으로 나아가는 것으로 나타났다. 선택코딩 결과 핵심 범주는 도전을 통해 자아를 발견하며 삶의 주인으로 성장하기‘로 분석되었다. 본 연구를 통해 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 장기간에 걸친 기간동안 자기 자신을 이해하고 진로를 탐색할 수 있는 진로교육 방안을 모색할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 자신의 직업을 선택하기 위해서는 진로교육이라는 좁은 의미의 교육에서 벗어나 삶의 방향을 정립할 수 있는 다양한 기회를 제공할 필요가 있다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the career adaptation process after graduation of graduates of Brain Education-based alternative schools based on grounded theory. To this end, 11 graduates of the Benjamin School for the Gifted in Character were interviewed in depth and analyzed using the method of grounded theory. As a result of open coding based on the interview data, 111 subcategories, 33 subcategories, and 15 upper categories were derived, and these were axially coded and analyzed as a paradigm model of grounded theory. As a result of the analysis, the central phenomenon appeared as 'attempts and challenges to find a career path' and 'continuous hardship', and the causal condition leading to this was 'career concerns that continue after graduation'. Contextual conditions were 'environment chosen to find a career', 'university connected to career', and 'influence of infectious disease situation', and action/interaction were 'effort for self-development', 'active school life', and 'self-confidence'. It appeared as 'mind control that raises you up', 'turning point you make yourself', and 'decision through self-reflection'. The mediation conditions were 'learning from Benjamin' and 'support and encouragement from people around me'. . The results were ‘fruit and growth of efforts’ and ‘finding my way’. As a result of the process analysis, it was found that the process of challenge → barrier → overcoming → adaptation was repeated while progressing from discovery → growth. As a result of selective coding, the core category was analyzed as 'to discover one's self through challenges and to grow as a master of life'. The conclusions obtained through this study are as follows. First, a career education plan that allows students to explore themselves for a sufficient period of time should be sought. Second, job search should provide an opportunity to pursue a career in a broad sense that can set the direction of life, breaking away from the narrow meaning of career education. Third, it is necessary to actively utilize Brain Education for career education.
