교육리더십에 관한 질적연구의 문제와 과제

A Review of Qualitative Research in Educational Leadership

한국 교육행정학에서 질적연구방법은 2000년대를 기점으로 증가추세를 보이고 있다. 이러한 증가 추세에 따라 질적연구에 대한 반성적 성찰과 함께 연구논문의 질 평가의 필요성이 제기되고 있다. 본 연구는 질적연구방법으로 수행된 교육리더십 논문의 연구경향과 질을 평가하여 문제점을 확인하고 이를 개선하기 위한 방안을 도출하는 데 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서는 문헌고찰을 통해 논문의 질을 평가하기 위한 평가 기준(연구설계, 연구방법, 자료수집, 표집, 자료분석, 분석결과)과 평가 척도(미충족 0점, 부분적 충족 1점. 충족 2점)를 개발하고, 2000년부터 2021년까지 「교육행정학연구」에 게재된 교육리더십 관련 논문 가운데 질적연구방법을 사용한 총 16편의 논문을 분석하였다. 연구결과, 질적연구방법 가운데 사례연구에 편중된 문제, 연구대상 논문 간 질적 수준 차이의 문제, 연구방법에서의 동일한 오류가 반복되는 문제를 확인하였다. 이러한 문제점에 대해 연구자와 연구현장 간 네트워크 구축, 대학원 간 연계 방안, 학술지 심사 과정 개선 등을 제안하였다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze methodological challenges and offer recommendations for the qualitative research of educational leadership. In order to achieve the goals, the study identified 16 research of educational leadership published in Korean Journal of Educational Administration between 2000 and 2021. The author applied analytical standards for conducting systemic review. Data were analyzed and evaluated according to an analytical standard. From the findings of this study are as follows: Theres was a strong tendency to preponder case study overwhelmingly. The study identified the disparities among the research in educational leadership. Also, the problem of repeating the same error in the research method was identified. The author discusses recommendations for overcoming the challenges of the qualitative research of educational leadership.
