부모 애착이 아동의 행복감에 미치는 영향

The Effect of Parent Attachment on Children’s Happiness

이 연구는 부모 애착이 아동의 행복감에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 고안된 연구이다. 연구대상은 12차 아동패널연구에 참여한 1019명의 초등학교 4학년 아동으로 남아는 528명, 여아는 491명이다. 본 연구는 부모 애착이 아동의 행복감에 미치는 영향을 살펴보기 위해 SPSS 23.0으로 상관분석과 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫 번째, 아버지 애착과 어머니 애착은 아동의 행복감과 유의미한 상관을 나타냈다. 두 번째, 아동의 행복감을 예측하는 변인으로 아버지 신뢰감이 가장 높은 예측변인으로 나타났으며, 다음으로 어머니 의사소통, 어머니 소외감, 아버지 소외감 변인이 강력한 예측변인으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 아동의 행복감이 부모 애착과 관련되어 있음을 이해하는데 도움을 준다. 나아가 아동의 행복감을 증진시키기 위해 앞으로의 연구 및 실제에 의미있는 기여를 할 것으로 판단된다.

This study examined the effects of parent attachment on children’s happiness. The study sample was 1019 elementary school fourth graders (528 boys, 491 girls) who had participated in the twentieth wave of the Panel Study on Korean Children (PSKC). The data were analyzed using Pearson’s correlations and regression analysis with SPSS 23.0. The results are as follows. First, paternal attachment and maternal attachment had a significant correlation with children’s happiness. Second, paternal trust, maternal communication, maternal isolation, and paternal isolation are predicted variables for children’s happiness. These results add to a better understanding of the mechanism linking paternal attachment and maternal attachment to children’s happiness. These findings can serve as an important contribution to future research and practices for increasing children’s happiness.
