영유아 어머니를 대상으로 한 그림책 활용 질문중심 하브루타 부모교육 활동과 효과

The effects of the question-oriented havruta parent education activities using picture books

본 연구는 어머니를 대상으로 그림책을 활용한 질문중심 하브루타 활동을 구성하고, 이러한 활동이 만 2세~5세 자녀를 둔 어머니의 양육효능감, 양육스트레스 및 양육방식에 긍정적인 효과가 있는지를 알아보기 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위해 서울과 경기도에 거주하는 만2세~5세 자녀를 둔 어머니 총 29명을 대상으로 연구를 수행하였다. 연구자는 전문가들과 함께 양육효능감과 양육방식, 자존감, 사회성, 편견과 선입견, 아이의 독립 등을 소재로 한 그림책을 선정하여 활동을 구성하였다. 실험집단은 연구자와 함께 6주 동안 총 12회기의 온라인 및 오프라인 하브루타 활동을 실시하였고, 통제집단은 각 가정에서 자녀와 함께 12회기의 ‘그림책을 활용한 상호작용 활동’에 대한 가정통신문만 제공하였다. 연구결과 그림책을 활용한 질문중심 하브루타 활동은 어머니의 양육효능감에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으며, 양육효능감 중 전반적인 양육능력과 학습지도능력을 유의하게 높이는 것으로 나타났다. 더불어 그림책을 활용한 질문중심 하브루타 활동이 양육스트레스를 낮추는 것으로 나타났으나 통계적으로 유의한 수준은 아니었다. 이러한 결과는 그림책을 활용한 질문중심 하브루타 활동이 영유아 자녀를 둔 어머니의 양육에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 시사한다.

This study was conducted to organize question-oriented Havruta activities using picture books for mothers, and to find out whether these activities have a positive effect on the parenting efficacy, parenting stress, and parenting style of mothers with children aged 2 to 5. To this end, a total of 29 mothers with children aged 2 to 5 living in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do participated in the study. The researcher, along with experts, organized the activity by selecting picture books based on parenting efficacy, parenting style, self-esteem, social competence, prejudice and child's independence. The experimental group conducted a total of 12 online and offline Havruta activities for 6 weeks with the researcher. The control group provided only home letter so that each family could conduct 12 sessions of 'story-telling activities using picture books' with their children. As a result, question-oriented Havruta activities using picture books had a positive effect on mothers' parenting efficacy and significantly increased overall parenting and learning guidance skills among parenting efficacy. In addition, question-oriented Havruta activities using picture books were found to lower parenting stress, but they were not statistically significant. These results suggest that question-oriented Havruta activities using picture books can have a positive effect on the parenting of mothers with infants and children.
