The purpose of this study is to analyze the world's folk songs contained in music textbooks of common publishers in the 6th and 7th grades and to provide implications for the direction of development of music education and learning in connection between elementary and secondary school levels. The subjects of this study's analysis are music textbooks from common publishers in the 6th and 7th grades, with a total of 21 music textbooks in the 6th and 14 music textbooks in the 7th grades. The criteria for analysis are music, content and activities, and the link between elementary and secondary school levels. As a result of the analysis, 'Europe' was presented the most in both 6th and 7th grades, In terms of content and activities, singing areas and activity integration areas based on musical concepts were presented the most, and cultural activities through music were also confirmed. Based on this, it could be seen that there is some connection in music learning between school levels.
