국내 예술교육에서 미적 발달에 대한 연구동향 분석

An Analysis of Research Trends on Aesthetic Development in Korean Art Education

본 연구는 국내 예술교육에서 미적 발달에 대한 연구동향을 분석하여 예술교육에 대한 새로 운 관점과 교육적 과제를 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 자료수집은 학술연구정보서비스(RISS) 와 한국학술지인용색인(KCI)의 데이터베이스를 활용하여 미적 발달 관련 주제어 검색을 통해 예술교육에 관련된 연구를 중심으로 총 27편을 선정하였다. 자료의 분석은 예술교육에서 미적 발달 관련 선행연구들의 연구연도, 연구대상, 연구방법, 연구주제, 예술 장르를 기준으로 분석 하였다. 연구 결과는 첫째, 연도별로 보면 미적 발달 관련 연구는 1992년부터 2022년까지 꾸준 히 이어지고 있지만 양적으로 크게 증가하지 않았다. 둘째, 연구대상은 초등학생, 중학생, 유아, 성인, 교사 및 전문가를 대상으로 하였으나 대부분 학습자를 중심으로 이루어졌으며 초등학생 에 대한 연구가 가장 많았다. 셋째, 연구방법은 질적 연구, 통합 연구, 양적 연구를 활용하고 있 지만 대부분 질적 연구를 통해 이루어지고 있었으며 양적 연구는 저조하였다. 넷째, 연구주제 는 교수학습방안에 대한 연구를 중심으로 이루어지고 있었으며 미적 발달의 개념 및 특징에 대 한 연구와 미적 발달의 요인에 대한 연구는 미흡하였다. 다섯째, 예술 장르별로는 대부분 미술 을 중심으로 이루어지고 있으며 무용과 통합예술에서도 시도되고 있다. 예술교육을 통한 미적 발달은 예술교육의 중요한 목표로써 효과적인 교수학습방안을 제시하고 국내 예술교육의 질적 향상에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

This study attempted to explore new perspectives and educational tasks on art education by analyzing research trends on aesthetic development in domestic art education. To this end, a total of 27 data collections were selected, focusing on research related to art education through the search for subject words related to aesthetic development using the databases of the Academic Research Information Service (RISS) and the Korean Journal Citation Index (KCI). The analysis of the data was based on the research year, research subject, research method, research topic, and art genre of prior studies related to aesthetic development in art education. The results of the study are first, and by year, research related to aesthetic development has been steadily continuing from 1992 to 2022, but there has been no significant increase in quantity. Second, the subjects of the study were elementary school students, middle school students, infants, adults, teachers, and experts, and among them, elementary school students were the most studied. Third, most of the research methods were conducted through qualitative research, and integrated research was also used, but quantitative research was poor. Fourth, the research topic was centered on research on teaching and learning methods, and research on the concepts and characteristics of aesthetic development and the factors of aesthetic development were insufficient. Fifth, by art genre, most of them are centered on art and are also attempted in dance and integrated art. It is expected that aesthetic development through art education will present effective teaching and learning measures as an important goal of art education and contribute to improving the quality of art education in Korea.
