중등 교원양성체제 발전 방안에 관한 정책 방향 탐색 연구 - 음악 교사 역량에 대한 인식과 요구를 중심으로

Research on Policy Direction for the Development of Secondary Teacher Training System - Focusing on Perception and Demands of Music Teacher Competencies

본 연구는 예비 및 현직 음악교사를 대상으로 하여 음악 교과에서 요구되는 교사 역량에 대한 인식과 요구를 파악하고, 교사자격증 취득경로에 따른 집단 간 차이를 분석하고자 하였다. 궁극적으로 이를 통해 교육부가 추진하는 교원 양성체제 발전 방안의 적용 가능성과 제언 점을 찾고자 하였다. 조사는 전국 중등학교 현직 및 예비 음악교사를 대상으로 2022년 2월 18일부터 3월 15일까지 온라인으로 진행되었으며, 총 138개의 온라인 응답을 수집, 분석하였다. 이때 교사자격증 취득경로에 따른 사범대학 과정 이수자, 교육대학원 과정 이수자, 일반 교직과정 이수자 집단 간 음악교사역량에 대한 중요도와 성취도 인식 비교가 이루어졌다. 분석 결과, 교사자격증 취득경로에 따른 집단 간 비교에서 실기 관련 일부 영역의 유의미한 차이가 발견되었고, 이는 교원양성체제 변화에 있어서 반드시 고려되어야 할 부분으로서 음악교사에게 있어 실기 관련 배경의 중요성을 보여주는 것으로 해석할 수 있다.

This study aimed to identify the perception and demand for teacher competencies required in music education among prospective and current music teachers, as well as to analyze the differences between groups based on the routes of acquiring teaching certification. Ultimately, the goal was to explore the applicability and recommendations of the development of the teacher training system promoted by the Ministry of Education. The survey was conducted online from February 18th to March 15th, 2022, targeting current and prospective music teachers in middle schools nationwide, and a total of 138 online responses were collected and analyzed. In this study, a comparison was made between the importance and achievement perception of music teacher competencies among individuals who completed courses at a teacher training college, a graduate school of education, and a regular teacher training program, based on the routes of acquiring teaching certification. The analysis results revealed significant differences in certain practical areas between groups based on the routes of acquiring teaching certification, indicating the importance of practical background for music teachers as an essential consideration in the changes to the teacher training system.
