Development of Instructional Materials for Inclusive Class Using AAC

배경 및 목적: 본 연구는 의사소통에 어려움이 있는 장애학생이 일반 초등학교의 통합교과 수업에 참여할 수 있도록 AAC 상징 및 도구를 활용한 수업자료를 개발하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 방법 및 결과: 본 연구에서는 교과서 분석, AAC 적용 단원 확인, PPT수업자료 제작, 교수학습지도안 수정, AAC 적용 준비, 핵심어휘 추출 및 문해자료 제작, 학습지 제작의 단계를 거쳐 AAC 를 이용한 수업자료를 개발하였다. 논의 및 결론: 본 연구는 첫째, AAC 적용의 가능성을 확대하였고, 둘째, 학업과 관련된 AAC 활용방법의 구체적 절차를 제시하였으며, 셋째, 중도장애학생 통합 및 일반교육과정 수정을 위한 좋은 기초자료가 될 것이다.

Background & Objectives: In this study, we aimed to develop multimedia teaching materials that utilize picture symbols and speech generation features of AAC, for students with disabilities to be able to participate in the class of general elementary school. Method: Instructional materials using AAC were developed based on the following steps: 1) selection of target subject area and chapters, 2) PPT development using textbook contents, 3) modification of lesson plans, 4) preparation of AAC application according to the adapted lesson plan, 5) creation of literacy materials of selected core vocabularies from the chapter, and 6) making worksheets. Results: Various PPT materials and AAC boards for class participation and vocabulary learning were developed. The process and results of this study showed ways to use AAC for academic participation in inclusive education settings. Conclusion: Further research is necessary to study the effect of actual application of these instructional materials.
