의사소통 지원요구 평가를 위한 CSI-CY 내용타당화 연구

Translation and Content Validation of the Korean Version of Communication Support Inventory - Children & Youth (CSI-CY)

배경 및 목적: 본 연구의 목적은 아동·청소년용 의사소통지원 요구 평가도구(CSI-CY, Rowland et al., 2012)의 문항을 한국어로 번역하고 한국의 학교 맥락에 맞게 문화적으로 수정하며, 문항의 내용타당도를 검증하는 데 있다. 방법 및 결과: 이를 위해 연구진 및 외부 자문가에 의해 번역과 내용의 문화적 수정을 거친 126 문항에 대해 AAC 에 전문성을 지닌 특수교육 및 언어병리학 전문가 7 인을 대상으로 내용 타당도를 검증하였다. 내용타당도는 해당 문항이 한국의 학교 환경에서 AAC 를 사용하는 학생들의 의사소통적 요구를 파악하기에 적절한지를 중심으로 검토되었다. 연구결과 본 연구를 통해서 번역되고 수정된 126 개의 모든 문항은 이러한 학생의 교육 및 중재 계획을 세우고 목표를 수립하기에 적절한 것으로 나타났다. 결론: 국제적으로 사용되고 있는 의사소통 지원요구 평가를 위한 신뢰롭고 타당한 평가도구로서, CSI-CY 를 한국의 AAC 사용자들을 대상으로 적용하기 위한 토대를 마련했다는 데 본 연구의 의의를 두며, 임상리포트를 활용한 다양한 전문가들 간의 평가결과 검토 및 문항의 신뢰도 확보, 향후 현장에서의 실제적인 사용을 위한 평가 수행 매뉴얼 개발 등에 대한 제언이 이루어졌다.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the content validity Korean version of Communication Support Inventory for Children & Youth (Rowland et al., 2012, CSI-CY). After completing translation, the content validity of the 126-item scale was assessed by an expert committee review. Content validity index (CVI) was calculated based on CVI of the items judged by seven professionals in special education and speech and language pathology. Based on the results of the content validity test, communication support inventory comprised of total 126 items, were developed and its CVIs were above .60 averagely, and thus the items were thought to be suitable to identify communication needs of the AAC users in Korean school context. Implications for future research and practice were discussed.
