Case Study on Effects of AAC Intervention services in Clinic center

배경 및 목적: 본 연구는 치료실에서 보완대체의사소통 중재서비스 시범사업으로 언어재활사의 AAC 직접 교수의 효과를 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 본 연구에 참여한 아동들은 기존에 AAC 중재에 참여하지 않았던 학생들로 사례 1 은 뇌병변 장애학생, 사례 2 는 발달장애 학생으로 선정하였다. 방법: 본 연구는 사전-사후 설계로 진행하였다. 결과: 본 연구의 AAC 직접교수를 통해 의사소통 능력의 증진을 살펴볼 수 있었다. 사례 1 은 약 48 회기의 효과를 살펴보았고, 사례 2 는 8 회기의 효과를 살펴보았다. 본 연구에서는 AAC 기기 사용 및 의사소통 기술 습득과 숙달을 진행 한 후, 대화상대방 훈련을 통해 이를 일반화하고 유지하도록 중재하였다. 논의 및 결론: 본 연구는 시범사업의 성과로 분리된 환경인 치료실에서 AAC 전문가의 체계적인 AAC 중재의 효과를 살펴보았다는 의의가 있다.

Background & Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) direct teaching of AAC intervention service in clinic center. The children who participated in this study were the students who did not participate in AAC intervention earlier. Method: Case 1 included a student with cerebral palsy and Case 2 included a student with a developmental disability. Through the AAC direct teaching of this study, we were able to examine the improvements in communication ability. The study design was a pre-post test. For Case 1, 48 sessions were conducted and for Case 2, 8 sessions were conducted. Results: The intervention and communication skills were evaluated, generalized, and maintained through conversation partner training before and after AAC. Conclusion: This study implies the significance of systematic AAC intervention by AAC experts in the clinic center, which is a separate environment for the performance of the pilot project.
