장애인 직업능력개발을 위한 인지재활 필요성 기초조사

Preliminary Study on the Necessity of the Cognitive Rehabilitation for Vocational Rehabilitation

본 연구의 목적은 장애인 직업재활 훈련 실무자를 대상으로 훈련생들의 직업 수행을 돕기 위한 인지재활 프로그 램의 필요성에 대한 인식을 알아보고 인지훈련 영역 중 가장 필요한 인지요소를 조사하기 위함이었다. 또한 향후 장애 인 직업능력 강화를 위한 인지재활 프로그램 개발에 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 연구방법 : 국내 장애인 직업훈련 및 지원 사업을 담당하는 전문가들 98명을 대상으로 인지재활 프로그램의 필요성 인식 과 직업재활에서 집중적으로 훈련이 필요한 인지 요소를 조사하고 인지재활이 필요한 장애유형을 알아보고자 설문 조 사지 방식으로 진행하였다. 결과 : 설문응답자의 83.7%가 인지재활을 들어보았고 50.0% 정도가 인지재활을 시도해 보았으며 필요성에 대한 인식 도는 5점 척도 중 평균 3.61점으로 나타났다. 또한 다양한 인지 요소 중 훈련생들에게 더 집중적으로 제공해야 할 인지 훈련요소는‘주의집중’‘, 상황인식과상황판단’‘, 문제해결능력’‘, 지시에따라수행하기’순으로조사되었다. 결론 : 국내 직업재활 훈련 현장에서 인지재활에 대한 실제적인 필요성을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구는 직업재활을 지지하는 인지재활 프로그램 개발의 필요성을 위한 기초자료 조사와 이를 담당하는 작업치료사의 필요성을 인식시키는데 의의 가 있다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the need for the cognitive rehabilitation and to find important cognitive functions in vocational rehabilitation services. Methods : The survey of 98 vocational trainers was conducted by mail. The survey was about the need for cognitive rehabilitation and diagnosis related to cognitive impairments in vocational rehabilitation services. Results : 85.0% of survey respondents had recognized cognitive rehabilitation and 50.0% of respondents had an experience to conduct a cognitive training in clients of vocational rehabilitation services. The respondents scored mean 3.61 out of 5 in the need for the cognitive rehabilitation and ranked important cognitive functions as follows: attention, awareness, problem solving, and command to follow. Conclusion : The results shows great need for the cognitive rehabilitation in vocational rehabilitation services. This study suggests that occupational therapists need to develop cognitive rehabilitation programs in vocational rehabilitation services.
