초등학교에서의 전자 포트폴리오 평가에 관한 협력적 실행연구

Collaborative Action Research on the Electronic Portfolio Assessment in Elementary School

본 연구는 실천가인 교사가 직접 연구를 설계하고 실행한 협력적 실행연구로서 그 목적은 전자 포트폴리오 평가 모델을 교실 현장에 적용하여 수업과 평가 측면에서의 시사점을 도출하는 데 있다. 전자 포트폴리오 평가 모델을 설계하기 위해 과학 교과를 선택하였고, 교육과정 내용을 재구성하여 A 초등학교의 상황에 적합한 전자 포트폴리오 모형을 개발하였다. 이후 전자 포트폴리오 평가를 협력적 실행연구 절차에 의하여 직접 실행하고 교육적 시사점과 문제점을 도출하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교사들은 A 초등학교의 맥락과 학습 상황에 적절한 전자 포트폴리오 평가 모델 및 3단원 36차시에 이르는 수업과 개별적인 루브릭을 제작하였다. 둘째, 전자 포트폴리오 평가를 실행한 결과 교사들은 수업 과정을 탐색하고 이를 다음 수업 시간에 다시 반영하는 순환적 교수·학습 과정을 통해 전자 포트폴리오 평가를 구현했다. 셋째, 연구자로서 교사의 경험을 분석한 결과, 교사들은 처음에는 실행연구에 대하여 상당한 불안감을 보였으나 실행연구의 여러 연구 과정에 몰입하게 되면서 보람과 희열을 느끼게 되었다. 본 연구가 앞으로 더욱 가속화될 평가의 맥락화, 탈중심화에 이바지하기를 기대한다.

The purpose of this study, collaborative action research designed and conducted directly by an elementary school teacher, is to deduce implications for class and assessment aspects by applying an electronic portfolio assessment model in the classroom. Also, this study intends to research the effects of collaborative action research on improving of teachers’ professionalism and consciousness by analyzing participating teachers’ experiences. The results of this study are as follows: First, the teachers designed an appropriate electronic portfolio assessment model for an elementary school’s context and learning environment. Secondly, according to the results of executing an electronic portfolio assessment model, the teachers implemented electronic portfolio evaluation through a cyclical teaching·learning process of re-searching the instruction process and reflecting on the next class. Thirdly, according to the results of analyzing the teachers’ experiences as a researcher, teachers initially had considerable anxieties and doubts about the action research. However, they became immersed in various research processes of action research. As a result, they could solve real problems around them and develop their ability and feel worthwhile and great joy. This change worked as the power that helped to search for another action research topic. The researcher intends to contribute to contextualizing and de-centering educational assessment that will be more accelerated in the future. Various assessment models that applied action research are expected to be discussed.
