인공지능 시대의 디지털 역량 함양을 위한 디지털 리터러시 역량 평가 도구 개발 및 타당화

Development and validation of an instument to measure digital literacy

최근 인공지능 사회로 접어들면서 디지털·인공지능 기술을 효과적으로 활용하고 재생산하는 능력과 더불어 디지털 시민으로서의 윤리의식이 무엇보다 중요하게 강조되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이와 같은 사회변화의 요구를 반영하여 디지털 리터러시 역량 평가 도구를 개발하고 타당화하여 디지털 역량 함양을 위한 학교현장의 디지털 교육에서 활용하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 통해 5가지 영역(디지털 지식기술, 디지털 활동, 디지털 사고, 디지털 시민의식, 태도 및 자기조절)의 총 51가지 문항을 개발하였다. 개발된 평가문항을 디지털 네이티브에 해당하는 대학생 237명을 대상으로 역량평가 조사를 실시하였고, 응답결과를 바탕으로 신뢰도 분석, 탐색적 요인분석, 확인적 요인분석을 순차적으로 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 수용 가능한 통계 기준치에 충족하지 못하는 항목은 수정 혹은 제거하고, 최종 35문항의 디지털 리터러시 역량 평가 도구를 제시하여 타당성을 검증하였다.

With the avant of the technology of artificial intelligence in our daily lives, the competence to understand and operate digital communication, digital literacy, has become crucial in our society as well as in education. This study aims to develop and validate an instrument to measure digital literacy, which would make us assess the digital competence of our students and provide useful indices for the educational practices and policy making. For the study, a draft instrument was developed through extensive literature reviews and systematic examination of experts and pre-testees. The statistical validation of the draft was conducted with 237 college students. The process includes reliability tests, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis. The finalized instrument consists of 35 questions of eight constructs in four domains. Implications in education and suggestions for future studies were presented.
