Study on Aspects of Sports Pedagogy Lecture Content by University Professors

본 연구는 대학교수가 스포츠교육학 강좌에서 주목한 내용 측면을 탐색하는데 목적이 있었다. 이 연구에서 연구 참여자는 연구자 자신이다. 이 연구는 교육대학원에서 운영된 ‘스포츠교육학’ 강좌로 15차시로 구성되었고, 차시별로 3시간씩 운영되었다. 자료는 강의 과정에서 수집된 연구자의 수업일지와 필드노트 및 강의계획서를 활용하였다. 수집된 자료를 귀납적 범주분석을 활용하여 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 스포츠교육학 강좌 15차시의 내용별로 주목한 측면을 체육교육에 관한 이해, 체육교육에서 구조적 글쓰기에 관한 이해, 글쓰기를 통한 체육교육 현상에 관한 이해 등으로 범주화하였다. 둘째, 수업 주목하기의 내용 측면에 관한 이해 측면을 교수자의 교육 의도에 따른 수업 현상 바라보기와 학습과 연구의 통합성 갖추기 측면으로 범주화하여 분석하고 해석하였다. 이 연구는 스포츠교육학 운영 과정에서 주목하는 내용 측면에 관한 이해와 교수자의 수업 운영에 관한 안목을 증진하는 데 도움이 될 것이다.

The purpose of this study was to examine a few aspects of sports pedagogy course content as marked by the concerned university professors. The research participant in this study is the researcher himself. This study consisted of a lecture content distributed through 15 classes at the Graduate School of Education. Each class had a duration of 3 hours. The data used were the researcher's class journals, field notes, and syllabus collected during the course of the lecture. The results of an inductive category analysis of these data are as follows: First, the most noticeable aspects of the contents of the 15th session of the sports education lecture were categorized as: 1. understanding of physical education; 2. understanding of structural writing in physical education; and 3. reasoning of the phenomenon of physical education through writing. Second, the aspect of understanding the content noticed in class journals was analyzed and interpreted. This analysis was done by categorizing the information into aspects of looking at the class as a subject of study and according to the instructor's teaching objectives and the integration of their learning and research. This study will help improve readers’ understanding of the content aspects of sports education and the instructor's insight into class management.
