Purpose: This study sought to discover the relationship between workplace bullying, human rights sensitivity, and the nursing work environment among hospital nurses in Seoul. Method: A structured questionnaire was administered to 245 of nurses working at hospitals in Seoul. The t-test and ANOVA were run on the SPSS 22.0 program to analyze the col-lected data for variations in workplace bullying according to the subject's general characteristics. The relationship between each of the variables was determined using Pearson's correlation. Result: Workplace bullying of hospital nurses was found to vary significantly with gender, age, work experience, position, medical ward, and surgical ward work experience, and showed a negative correlation with human rights sensitivity and the nursing work environment. Conclusion: It was found that the nursing manager's ability, leadership, support for nurses, and a foundation of quality nursing influenced workplace bullying. This confirmed the need for an approach that aimed to enhance the quality of nursing and continually improve the leadership of nursing managers. Human rights sensitivity has also been shown to have an impact on work-place bullying. Thus, providing regular human rights education programs, paying attention to items with high scores in work-related bullying and personality-related bullying, and providing physical resources and nursing staff for nursing work would be beneficial.
