Purpose: This Study aims to study specific symptoms of post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and the effects of the Reflected Image Meditation Program on the research participant with PTSD. Methods: Morey`s (1991)Personality Assessment Inventory: PAI has been used for the measurement. The research has taken the single case method as well as the ABC design which checks the period before (A), during (B), and after (C) the application of the Reflected Image Meditation Program. Results: The research participant has been suffering from PTSD ever since experiencing the frightful accident of losing fingers by the frozen meat chopper. To understand the cause of PTSD, the psycho-social model has been applied. The study has figured the main cause of PTSD of the participant to be the extreme avoidance of re-experiencing the traumatic event. Conclusion: Thereupon, the study has observed the process of the participant gradually feeling and losing the unpleasant physical reactions of PTSD without habitual and extreme avoidance due to the intervention of the Reflected Image Meditation Program which has been imported from the tradition of Buddhist meditation. The Reflected Image Meditation Program is to recall a single case repeatedly to get a new insight through the continual observation. After applying the Reflected Image Meditation Program, the symptoms of PTSD of the participant has been notably relieved, which seems to be the major ther-apeutic effect of the Reflected Image Meditation Program.
