중등 예비교사의 창의성에 영향을 주는 교직 적·인성 요인 분석: 주지교과와 기능교과를 중심으로

Analysis of the Factors of Teaching Aptitude and Personality Affecting the Creativity of Secondary Pre-service Teachers in Knowledge-based and Skill-based Subjects

본 연구의 목적은 주지교과와 기능교과 전공 학생 간 교직 적·인성과 창의성의 관계를 분석하여 중등 예비교사들에게 체계적인 창의·인성교육을 실천할 수 있는 기본적인 근거를 제공하고자 함에 있다. 연구 대상은 A대학교의 중등 예비교사 751명을 대상으로, Kim et al.(2013)의 교직 적·인성 검사 도구를 사용하였으며, 수집된 자료는 연구 변인 간 연관성을 파악하기 위해 t검정, 상관관계 분석, 로지스틱 회귀분석을 시행하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 적·인성 검사 결과에서 주지교과 전공학생이 기능교과 전공 학생보다 교직 적·인성 검사 결과 높은 점수를 받았다. 둘째, 주지교과와 기능교과 전공 학생에 따라창의성에 미치는 교직 적·인성 요인에서 차이가 나타났으며, 중등 예비교사의 교과 전공에 따른 맞춤형 창의·인성교육의 필요성이 제기되었다. 본 연구는 중등 예비교사의 창의성 계발 방향에 대한 실천적이고 의미 있는 기초자료로서 그 의의를 가진다.

The purpose of the study was to investigate the relationship between the teaching aptitude and personality traits and creativity of secondary pre-service teachers majoring in knowledge-based and skill-based subjects in order to provide basic evidence for the systematic implementation of creativity and personality education. The participants of the study were 751 secondary pre-service teachers from A university. The teaching aptitude and personality test developed by Kim et al.(2013) was used for data collection, and t-tests, correlation analysis, and logistic regression analysis were conducted to examine the relationships among the research variables. The results of the study showed that first, secondary pre-service teachers majoring in knowledge-based subjects showed higher scores on the teaching aptitude and personality test than those majoring in skill-based subjects. Second, there were differences in the factors affecting creativity depending on the majors of the pre-service teacher and the need for customized creativity and personality education based on the differences between the personality traits and the curriculum was suggested. This study provides practical and meaningful basic data on the develop-ment direction of creativity for secondary pre-service teachers.
