인공지능교육 교과 융합을 위한 특수교육 교육과정 분석 및 교육 프로그램 개발

Analysis of Special Education Curriculum for the Integration of Artificial Intelligence Education in Special Education and Development of Educational Programs

미래 사회에서 장애를 가지고 있는 특수교육 대상 학생들은 장애를 가지고 있지 않은 사람들보다 사회 적응과 정보의 접근 등에서 디지털 정보 격차와 불평등(Digital Divide)을 경험할 가능성이 매우 크다. 인공지능 및 기술 기반 미래 사회에서는 정보 불평등 격차가 더욱 벌어질 것으로 예상된다. 특수교육 대상 학생들도 미래 사회의 구성원으로서 사회의 발전과 변화의 흐름에 자연스럽게 적응하고, 삶을 주도적으로 영위하기 위해서는 인공지능의 기본 개념 이해와 활용을 위해 장애 특성과 제한성에 적합하게 개발된 보편적(Universal Design)인 인공지능 교육 프로그램을 개발하고 적용하여 학교에서 학습할 기회가 보장되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 특수교육 교육과정교과를 분석하고, 성취 기준을 분석하고 추출하여 분석된 성취 기준들을 활용하여 특수교육 초등학생을 대상으로 하는 ‘인공지능교육 교과 융합 프로그램’을 개발하였다. 본 프로그램을 통해 학습자는 인공지능의 기본 원리와 개념을 교육과정 속에서 학습할 수 있다. 또한 이를 통해 특수교육 현장에서 실제적인 교육 적용을 계획할 수 있다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

In the future society, students with disabilities in special education are highly likely to experience a digital information gap and inequality (Digital Divide) in social adaptation and access to information compared to non-disabled individuals. It is expected that the gap in information inequality will widen further in an AI and technology-driven future society. To ensure that students in special education can adapt to the flow of social development and change as future society members and actively pursue their lives, it is essential to develop and implement AI education programs based on universal design that are suitable for disability characteristics and limitations, aiming at understanding and utilizing the fundamental concepts of artificial intelligence. This study analyzes the special education curriculum, extracts and analyzes the achievement standards, and proposes an 'AI Education Integrated Curriculum for Special Education' targeting elementary school students with disabilities. Through this research, learners can learn the basic principles and concepts of artificial intelligence within the curriculum, and the educational program is significant as it enables practical application of education in the field of special education.
