청소년이 지각한 부모양육태도가 성취동기에 미치는 영향: 자아존중감과 자기효능감의 이중매개효과 검증

The Effect of Parenting Attitudes Perceived by Adolescent with Their Achievement Motivation: The Dual Mediating Effect of Self-Esteem and Self-Efficacy

본 연구는 청소년의 성취동기에 있어 자아존중감, 자기효능감과 청소년이 지각한 부모의 양육태도와 관계를 확인하고, 부모양육태도가 성취동기에 미치는 영향에 있어 자아존중감과 자기효능감의 간접 효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이러한 연구목적을 위해 충북지역 청소년 202명을 대상으로 성취동기 척도, 자아존중감 척도, 자기효능감 척도, 부모양육태도 척도를 활용하여 조사를 실시하고 Pearson 적률상관분석 및 구조방정모형으로 자료를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 살펴보면, 첫째, 청소년이 지각하는 부모양육태도, 자아존중감, 자기효능감은 성취동기와 모두 유의한 정적 상관을 나타냈다. 둘째, 청소년이 지각하는 부모양육태도가 성취동기에 미치는 영향에서 자기효능감은 유의미한 간접 효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났으며 자아존중감은 유의미한 간접효과를 가지지 못했다. 셋째, 청소년이 지각하는 부모양육태도가 성취동기에 이르는 경로에서 자아존중감은 자기효능감에 유의미한 간접효과를 미치는 이중매개효과를 보였다. 이에 청소년의 성취동기를 제고하기 위해서는 부모의 양육태도를 개선하기 위한 부모상담 및 교육과 더불어 청소년의 자아존중감과 자기효능감을 향상시키기 위한 상담 및 교육 프로그램이 필요함을 시사한다.

The purpose of this study is to verify the correlation between adolescents’ perceptions of parenting attitudes, achievement motivation, self-esteem, and self-efficacy. Additionally, the study aims to confirm the mediating role of self-esteem and self-efficacy in the relationship between parenting attitudes and achievement motivation. To achieve this, an online survey was conducted with 222 adolescents in the Chungbuk region. After filtering out insincere and unsuitable questionnaire submissions, 202 valid responses were used for analysis. The collected data were processed using SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 18 software. The findings of the study can be summarized as follows: Firstly, there were significant positive correlations between positive parenting attitudes, adolescents’ self-esteem, self-efficacy, and achievement motivation. Secondly, self-efficacy was identified as a mediator between parenting attitudes and adolescents’ achievement motivation. Thirdly, it was found that there exists a confirmed dual mediation effect of self-esteem and self-efficacy in the pathway between parenting attitudes and adolescents’ achievement motivation The implications of these findings are noteworthy, as they suggest the value of counseling and educational programs focused on enhancing self-esteem and self-efficacy, especially for adolescents with diminished achievement motivation due to parenting attitudes. The study concludes by discussing its limitations and offering recommendations for future research directions.
