장소 기반 미술교육을 위한 교사교육 실행학습 프로그램 설계

Developing the training program of place-based education for art teachers

2022 교육과정의 개정과 함께 교육목표 달성을 위해 미술교사들이 예술, 삶, 교육을 연계하는 ‘삶을 위한 미술교육’을 교실 수준에서 구현할 수 있도록 미술교사를 위한 재교육 프로그램이 필요한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 예술, 삶, 교육을 연계하는 효과적인 교육 접근방법으로서 장소 기반 학습에 기초하여 교사교육 프로그램(안)을 제시해 보았다. 이 교육프로그램은 장소 기반 학습의 개념과 원리에 관한 이론 강의 및 토론, 현장방문을 통한 실행학습, 장소 기반 미술수업 기획(안) 작성 등 3개 세션으로 구성된다. 실제 장소 경험을 예술적으로 표현하고 자신의 사고와 표현을 다른 학습자들과 공유함으로써 학교 교육과정에서 다루어질 장소 기반 학습을 직접 체험하고 내재화시킨다는 점, 그리고 장소 기반 미술교육의 실천원리에 따라 미술수업 기획(안)을 작성해 봄으로써 학교 현장에서의 실행가능성을 제고한 점 등이 본 연구의 의의라 생각한다.

Along with the revision of the 2022 national curriculum, it is necessary to design a re-education program for art teachers so that art teachers can implement art education for life that links art, life, and education at the local level. Therefore, this study proposed a teacher education program based on the basis of place-based learning as an effective educational approach linking art, life, and education. This education program consists of theoretical lectures and discussions on concepts and principles, action learning through field visits, and preparing the lesson plan of place-based learning. This study might be a great help to art teachers in terms of the provision of action learning opportunity and the feasibility of place-based lesson plan. However, the limitation of this study is to present only a draft program without applying this educational program to actual teachers.
