Analysis on ‘Plogging’ Trends Using BIG KINDS

본 연구의 목적은 뉴스 기사를 활용하여 ‘플로깅’에 관한 주요 키워드와 사회현상을 분석하고 중요 정보를 도출하는 것이다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해 한국언론진흥재단에서 제공하는 뉴스분석시스템 빅카인즈를 활용하여 자료 수집과 분석하였다. 총 54개의 언론매체를 대상으로 2018년부터 2022년까지의 뉴스 5,148건을 빈도 분석, 관계도 분석, 연관어 분석을 실시하였으며 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연도별 ‘플로깅' 관련 키워드 분석 결과, 2018년은 ‘한강 양화공원 일대’, ‘사회공헌활동’, ‘지역사회’ 등의 키워드를 확인할 수 있으며. 2019년은 ‘래미안’, ‘삼성물산’, ‘임직원’, ‘비치코밍’ 등의 키워드를 확인할 수 있었다. 2020년에는 ‘코로나19’, ‘비대면’, ‘인스타그램’ 등의 키워드를 확인할 수 있었고, 2021년은 ‘코로나19’, ‘SNS’, ‘MZ세대’, ‘인스타그램’, ‘ESG’ 등의 키워드를 확인할 수 있었다. 2022년에는 ‘봉사활동’, ‘환경보호’, ‘임직원’ ‘ESG’ 등의 키워드를 확인할 수 있었다. 둘째, 시기별 ‘플로깅’ 관련 트렌드 분석 결과, ‘플로깅 도입기’(2018~2019년), ‘플로깅 발전기’(2020년), ‘플로깅 확산기’(2021~2022년)로 구분할 수 있었다.

The purpose of this study is to use news articles to analyze major keywords and social phenomena related to ‘plogging’ and to derive important information. To achieve this goal, data were collected and analyzed using BIG Kinds, a news analysis system provided by the Korea Press Promotion Foundation. Frequency analysis, relationship map analysis, and related word analysis were conducted on 5,148 news items from 2018 to 2022 for a total of 54 media outlets, and the results are as follows. First, as a result of analyzing keywords related to ‘Plogging’ by year, keywords such as ‘Han River Yanghwa Park area’, ‘social contribution activities’, and ‘community’ can be checked in 2018. In 2019, keywords such as ‘Raemian’, ‘Samsung C&T’, ‘employees’ and ‘beachcoming’ could be checked. Keywords such as ‘COVID-19’, ‘Untact’, and ‘Instagram’ were identified in 2020, and keywords such as ‘COVID-19’, ‘SNS’, ‘MZ Generation’, ‘Instagram’, and ‘ESG’ were identified in 2021. In 2022, keywords such as ‘volunteer activities’, ‘environmental protection’, ‘employees’, and ‘ESG’ were identified. Second, as a result of analyzing trends related to ‘Plogging’ by period, it could be classified into ‘Plogging introducer’, ‘Plogging generator’, and ‘Plogging diffuser’.
