우리 사회는 고령사회임에도 불구하고 노년이나 노화를 바라보는 주체와 객체의 인식이 부정적이다. 노년에 대한 사회 전반의 인식 전환을 위해 다양한 문화예술교육적 접근이 적합할 것이다. 이 연구는 지난 7년(2016-22)간 ‘서울 50플러스 인생학교’에서 내러티브와 연극을 기반으로 교육프로그램을 개발하고 실행한 사례를 토대로 50플러스 세대의 교육에서 문화예술교육이 지니는 시사점을 탐구한 것이다. 연구 방법은 실행연구로 50플러스 인생학교 교육프로그램 개발에 직접 참여한 사례를 기술한 것이다. 해당 교육프로그램의 개발과 실행 과정을 상세하게 소개함으로써 생애전환 의미를 성찰하고, 50플러스 세대를 위한 문화예술교육의 학술적 실행적 시사점을 알아보고자 한다. 서울 50플러스 인생학교에서 개발하고 실행한 문화예술교육프로그램은 내러티브 정체성 및 내러티브 재구성과 연극의 속성에 이론적 바탕을 두었으며, ‘나와 우리의 이해’, ‘연대와 결속의 가치’, ‘우리의 시간 이어가기’를 담고 있다. 서을50플러스 인생학교 교육은 문화예술교육의 의의를 살려 협력에 의한 자율적 커뮤니티 활동으로 지속성을 담보하고, 2023년 현재 다양하게 변형되어 전국으로 확산되고 있다. 이 연구를 통해 50플러스를 위한 문화예술교육의 흐름과 방향에 시사점을 제공하고자 한다.
This study explores the implications of culture and arts education in the education of the 50 Plus generation based on examples of developing and implementing curriculum based on narratives and plays at the Seoul 50 Plus Life School over the past seven years (2016-22). The research method is a case study on implementation, and by introducing the development and implementation process of educational programs in detail, it was intended to reflect on the meaning of life transition and to find out the academic practical implications of culture and arts education for the 50+ generation. By ensuring continuity through autonomous community activities based on narrative reconstruction and theater cooperative activities, we would like to provide implications for the flow and direction of culture and arts education for 50 Plus through various cases that have been transformed and spread nationwide as of 2023.
