본 연구는 메타버스 플랫폼을 활용한 가상현실 심리상담 서비스의 활성화 방안에 대해 다루고 있다. 현재 메타버스 플랫폼과 가상현실은 주목받고 있는 신산업 분야이며, 심리상담 분야에서도 이를 활용한 연구와 서비스가 진행되고 있다. 그러나 메타버스 플랫폼을 활용한 가상현실 심리상담에 대한 개념과 구성요소, 윤리적 쟁점 등에 대한 논의가 부족하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 가상현실 심리상담의 주요 개념과 구성요소, 윤리적 쟁점 등을 제시하고자 한다. 또한, 메타버스 플랫폼에서의 가상환경, 아바타, 상담 도구 등의 역할과 중요성을 분석하며, 가상현실 심리상담에서 발생할 수 있는 윤리적 쟁점들을 도출하고 적절한 방안을 모색한다. 연구 방법으로는 문헌 조사, 선행 연구 분석 및 메타버스 플랫폼을 활용한 가상현실 심리상담인 비대면 상담에서 발생하는 윤리적 쟁점을 도출하였다. 이를 통해 현재 메타버스 플랫폼을 활용하여 가상현실 심리상담의 다양한 서비스를 제공하면서 발생할 수 있는 익명성으로 인한 위기 개입의 방법, 개인정보 보호, 권익 보호 및 메타버스 플랫폼을 활용한 가상현실 심리상담 전문가를 위한 역량 강화 방안을 제시하였다.
This study discusses how to activate virtual reality psychological counseling services using the Metaverse platform. Currently, platform and virtual reality are new industries that are attracting attention, and research and services utilizing them are being conducted in the field of psychological counseling. However, there is a lack of discussion on the concepts, components, and ethical issues of virtual reality psychological counseling using the Metaverse platform. Therefore, this study aims to present the main concepts, components, and ethical issues of virtual reality psychological counseling. In addition, the role and importance of virtual environments, avatars, and counseling tools in the metaverse platform are analyzed, and ethical issues that may arise in virtual reality psychological counseling are derived and appropriate measures are sought. As a research method, A literature survey was conducted to analyze previous studies and derive ethical issues arising from non-face-to-face counseling, which is psychological counseling using the metaverse platform. In addition, this study presented opinions on how to intervene in the crisis caused by anonymity that may occur on the metaverse psychological counseling platform, which provides various services to virtual reality psychological counseling professionals using the metaverse platform, privacy, rights protection, and capacity building.
