보육교사의 부모상담 경험에 관한 질적연구

Qualitative Study on Childcare Teachers’ Experiences of Parent Counseling

본 연구는 보육교사를 대상으로 이들이 부모상담 과정에서 어떠한 경험을 하고 있는지를 질적으로 분석하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 자료 수집을 위해 경기도내 어린이집에 근무하는 보육교사 7명을 대상으로 반구조화 형식으로 면담을 진행하였다. 보육교사를 대상으로 한 포커스그룹 인터뷰 결과 3가지 주제와 7개의 범주가 도출되었다. 3가지의 주제는 부모상담의 중요성, 부모상담의 경험, 부모상담의 성공요인으로 나타났다. 첫 번째 주제인 부모상담의 중요성에는 3개의 범주로 보육의 전문지식 제공, 영유아의 발달특성 교환, 부모-교사간 신뢰로 분석되었다. 두 번째 주제인 부모상담의 경험에는 2개의 범주로 부모상담의 어려움과 성공적인 부모상담 체험으로 나타났다. 세 번째 주제인 부모상담의 성공요인은 2개의 범주로 부모상담 교사요인, 부모상담 부모요인으로 구분되었다. 이와 같은 결과는 부모상담이 효율적으로 이루어지기 위해 필요한 지원이나 방향성을 제시하는 데 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

The purpose of this study is to qualitatively analyze the experiences of childcare teachers during the parent counseling process. To collect data, interviews were conducted in a semi-structured format with seven childcare teachers working at daycare centers in Gyeonggi-do. As a result of focus group interviews with childcare teachers, three themes and 7 categories were derived. The three themes emerged as the importance of parent counseling, experience of parent counseling, and success factors of parent counseling. The first theme, the importance of parental counseling, was analyzed into three categories: provision of expert knowledge in childcare, exchange of developmental characteristics of infants and toddlers, and trust between parents and teachers. The second theme, parental counseling experience, was divided into two categories: difficulties in parental counseling and successful parental counseling experiences. The third theme, success factors in parent counseling, was divided into two categories: parent counseling teacher factors and parent counseling parent factors. It is expected that these results will help provide the support and direction necessary for effective parent counseling.
