자연재해를 겪은 대학생의 외상 후 스트레스 지각 및 외상 후 성장에 영향을 미치는 요인: 사회적 지지와 반추 스타일을 중심으로

Factors Affecting Post-traumatic Stress Perception and Post-traumatic Growth among College Students who Experienced Natural Disasters: Focusing on Social Support and Rumination Style

본 연구는 자연재해를 겪은 대학생의 외상 후 스트레스 지각 및 외상 후 성장에 영향을 미치는 요인을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 태풍이나 홍수, 지진 등 자연재해를 겪었다고 응답한 전국의 대학생 304명을 대상으로 외상 후 스트레스, 외상 후 성장, 사회적 지지 및 반추 스타일 척도를 활용해 설문조사를 실시하고, 상관분석 및 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 첫째, 외상 후 스트레스 지각은 사회적 지지와 부적으로, 침습적 반추 및 의도적 반추와 정적으로 유의한 상관관계를 나타냈다. 또한, 외상 후 성장은 최근 침습적 반추를 제외한 당시 침습적 반추, 당시 의도적 반추, 최근 의도적 반추 및 사회적 지지와 유의미한 상관관계를 나타냈다. 둘째, 당시 침습적 반추와 최근 침습적 반추는 외상 후 스트레스 지각에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 그중에서 당시 침습적 반추의 설명력이 가장 컸다. 셋째, 당시 의도적 반추와 최근 의도적 반추 그리고 사회적 지지가 외상 후 성장에 영향을 미쳤으며, 당시 의도적 반추의 설명력이 가장 큰 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 본 연구결과를 토대로 시사점과 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate factors affecting Post-traumatic Stress(PTSS) Perception and Post-traumatic Growth(PTG) among college students who experienced natural disasters. Data was collected from 304 college students with such experiences. The results were analyzed using correlation analysis and hierarchical regression analysis. The results were following. First, PTSS was statically correlated with social support and intrusive rumination and deliberate rumination. PTG was also correlated with both intrusive and deliberate rumination soon after the event, deliberate rumination soon after the event, deliberate rumination at the time, recent deliberate rumination, and social support, but not with recent intrusive rumination. Second, intrusive rumination soon after the event and recent intrusive rumination have been shown to affect PTSS. Third, deliberate rumination soon after the event and recent deliberate rumination, as well as social support showed to have an impact to PTG. Limitations and suggestions are discussed.
