정서 반응성이 청소년의 비자살적 자해동기에 미치는 영향: 부정 긴급성과 정서조절곤란의 이중매개효과

Effects of Emotional Reactivity on non-suicidal self-injury motivation in adolescents: Dual Mediating Effects of Negative Urgency and Difficulties in Emotional Regulation

본 연구는 비임상 청소년 집단을 대상으로 정서 반응성과 비자살적 자해동기(개인내적 자해동기, 사회적 자해동기)의 관계에서 부정긴급성과 정서조절곤란이 이중매개효과를 가지는지 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 비자살적 자해 경험이 있는 중, 고등학생 청소년 205명을 대상으로 온라인 설문을 진행하였다. SPSS Process Macro를 사용하여 분석하였고, 매개효과의 유의성은 부트스트래핑 방법으로 검증하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 정서 반응성, 부정 긴급성, 정서조절곤란, 개인내적 및 사회적 자해동기 모든 변인 간에 유의미한 상관관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 정서 반응성과 개인내적 및 사회적 자해동기의 관계에서 부정 긴급성의 매개효과가 유의하게 나타나지 않았다. 셋째, 정서 반응성과 개인내적 및 사회적 자해동기의 관계에서 정서조절곤란의 매개효과가 나타났다. 넷째, 정서 반응성과 개인내적 및 사회적 자해동기의 관계에서 부정긴급성과 정서조절곤란의 순차적 이중매개효과가 나타났다. 본 연구의 의의 및 제한점과 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.

This study aimed to examine the dual mediating effects of negative urgency and difficulties in emotional regulation on the relationship between emotional reactivity and NSSI motives among adolescents. We conducted an online survey with a sample of 205 middle and high school adolescents who had engaged in NSSI. The results of this study were as follows: First, there were significant correlations between all variables. Second, there was no significant mediating effect of negative urgency on the relationship between emotional reactivity and intrapersonal and social self-injury motivation. Third, the mediating effect of difficulties in emotional regulation was found in the relationship between emotional reactivity and intrapersonal and social self-injury motivation. Fourth, there was a sequential dual mediation effect of negative urgency and difficulties in emotional regulation on the relationship between emotional reactivity and intrapersonal and social self-injury motivation. Significance and limitations of this study and suggestions for future research are discussed.
