A comparison of the narrative structure of novel red sorghum and drama 〈red sorghum〉 Entering the 21st century, The People’s Republic of China began to change in the drama market, which has strong political characteristics, due to social development and diversification of media. The Chinese government is giving government-level support to promote the cultural industry while paying attention to the economic value of cultural contents. Meanwhile, Chinese dramas were trying to transfer to popularization while delivering political messages in this social environment. The Popularity soon focused on a change in narrative strategy, and the drama "Red Sorghum (Hong Gaoliang)" is the best example. This paper is based on the analysis of the narrative structure transformation of praising The People’s Republic of China’s drama "Red Sorghum(2014) " and Mo Yan's original novel "Red Sorghum (1986) " produced to "70th Anniversary of the Counter-Japanese War". The infinite possibility of media transformation was confirmed in that the novel about the Counter-Japanese war was newly adapted into a drama by praising The People’s Republic of China from a completely different perspective.
