Analysis Criteria for Polysomnography

Sleeping is important in our lives. It helps us recover from fatigue, relax our minds, and provide energy for our daily activities. Polysomnography is performed to diagnose and evaluate sleep-related disorders, and consistent analysis criteria are important for accurate diagnosis and treatment. Accordingly, this paper presents the types and attachment locations of biosignal electrodes and sensors commonly used in polysomnography, analysis criteria for sleep stage, analysis criteria for sleep apnea and hypopnea, analysis criteria for leg movement for diagnosis of periodic limb movement and restless legs disorder, teeth grinding analysis criteria, and analysis criteria for arousal during sleep.
