COVID-19 is a respiratory syndrome caused by infection with the SARS-CoV2 coronavirus. Since its outbreak in December 2019, 760 million cases have occurred throughout the world, resulting in approximately 6.9 million deaths. The SARS-CoV2 virus is transmitted through close contact between people. Several vaccines have received emergency approval and administered to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Because vaccines protect the body from infection by producing virus-neutralizing antibodies, evaluation of antibodies formed after vaccination is important for predicting vaccine efficacy. Rapid diagnostic kits for evaluating antibody formation have been distributed, allowing for a quick and easy check for the presence of antibodies. However, it is not possible to assess the quantity of antibodies produced. We evaluated the production and amount of antibodies in samples from 42 healthy adults who had completed the second vaccination. The formation of antibodies was tested using a rapid test kit, and the quantity of antibodies formed was evaluated using ELISA technique. Antibodies were detected in all samples, but the amount of antibodies differed between individuals.
