For underground plant structures, it is essential to install columns that can support the weight of the upper part when applying conventional reinforced concrete structures. The technology of pipe-rack modular is expected to be installed as a module shell that can increase the usability of space that was not used when installing columns and secure the safety of the building. In this paper, structural analysis was performed by modeling the envelop for the purpose of replacing the columns in the underground space. As a result of structural analysis, it was found that the amount of stress and displacement received by the envelope structure with braking was smaller than that of the envelope structure without bracing. The results of this study are expected to be used as a basis for applying empirical design to underground spaces and applying it to various underground plant facilities.
