0-5세 자녀를 둔 부모의 유보통합 관련 인식 조사 연구

A study on parents' perceptions on consolidation of early childhood education and childcare

본 연구의 목적은 유보통합에 대한 0-5세 자녀를 둔 학부모의 인식을 알아보고 바람직한 방향을 모색하는데 기초자료를 제공하는 것이다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 본 연구에서는 유치원과 어린이집을 다니는 영유아의 학부모를 대상으로 2022년 7월 27일부터 8월 5일까지 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였다. 기관 선택이유와 불편한 점, 개선요구사항, 이용시간, 교사 및 교육과정, 유보통합에 대한 학부모의견을 조사하여 시사점을 도출하고자 하였다. 수집된 자료 분석의 주요 결과로는 학부모는 유보통합의 필요성과 장단점에 대해 정확하게 인식하지 못하는 것으로 나타났으며 유보통합에 대한 대국민 홍보의 필요성을 알 수 있었다. 연구결과에 기반하여 국민과 부모, 전문가의 의견을 수렴하는 정책실행이 향후 필요함을 정책적 시사점으로 제안하였다.

The purpose of this study was to provide fundamental data on parents' perceptions regarding the consolidation of Early Childhood Education and Childcare (ECEC) and to explore a desirable direction. To achieve the objectives of the research, an online survey was conducted of parents whose infants and toddlers (or young children) attending in kindergartens and daycare centers. The survey continued from July 27 to August 5, 2022. The research study aimed to analyze the choice of the institution, the inconveniences, improvement requirements, usage time, teachers and curriculum, as well as their opinions on the integration of reservation for deriving meaningful implications. The primary result of the data analysis revealed that they might not accurately recognize the necessity and the advantages and disadvantages of ECEC integration, emphasizing the need for public awareness campaigns on this matter. Building upon these research findings, the study suggested that a future policy implementations should be involved gathering the opinions from the public, parents, and experts as a crucial policy implication. Based on the research results, it was suggested that the policy implementation that collects opinions from those skateholders is necessary in the future.
