기초정신건강복지센터 제공 사업에 대한 중장노년층의 인식

Middle-aged and Older People's Awareness of the Projects Provided by the Basic Mental Health Welfare Center

목적 : 본 연구에서는 기초정신건강복지센터 제공 사업에 대한 중장노년층의 인식수준에 대해 알아보고 일반적 특성에 따른 중장노년층의 기초정신건강복지센터 제공 사업에 대한 인식 차이를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구방법 : 2023년 9월 1일부터 9월 30일까지 만 35세 이상의 전국 중장노년층을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였다. 총 161부의 자료가 수집되었으며 SPSS 25.0 프로그램을 활용하여 빈도분석과 Pearson 카이제곱 검정을 실시하였다. 연구결과 : 연구결과, 재난정신건강서비스 지원업무를 제외한 모든 기초정신건강복지센터 제공 사업은 ‘들어본 적 없다’가 가장 높은 비중을 보였다. 일반적 특성에 따른 기초정신건강복지센터 제공사업에 대한 인식수준을 분석한 결과, 성별, 연령, 거주지역, 자녀유무, 종교, 학력수준, 직업유형, 가족월수입, 가족 및 친인척 정신과질환 유무, 정신건강복지센터 이용경험 유무에 따라 각각 유의한 인식수준의 차이를 보이는 기초정신건강복지센터의 사업들은 각각 상이하였다. 이 중, 정신건강복지센터 이용경험 유무의 경우, 모든 기초정신건강복지센터 제공사업에 대한 인식수준에 유의한 차이가 있었다. 결론 : 기초정신건강복지센터 제공 사업에 대한 중장노년층의 인식 수준을 높이고 정신건강서비스가 국민의 정신건강 증진에 실효성을 갖기 위해서는 적극적인 사업 홍보와 정신건강서비스 이용 교육이 이루어져야 할 것이다.

Results : As a result of the study, 'Don't know' showed the highest proportion in all projects except disaster health service support work. As a result of analyzing the level of awareness of the projects of the basic mental health welfare center according to general characteristics, the projects of the basic mental health welfare center, which showed a significant differences in the level of awareness depending on gender, age, residential area, marital status, child status, religion, highest academic qualification, type of occupation, family monthly income, family and relative experiences of mental illness, experience using the mental health welfare center. Among them, in the case of experience using the mental health welfare center, there was a exceptional difference in the level of perception in all projects. Conclusion : Active promotion of the projects and education on the use of mental health services should be conducted to raise the level of middle-aged and older people's awareness of the projects provided by the basic mental health welfare center and to provide effective mental health services for the public.
