본 연구는 청소년의 스마트폰 과의존과 공격성 관계에서 그릿의 매개효과를 검증하고자 수행되었다. 이를 위해 한국아동⋅청소년패널조사 2018(KCYPS 2018)의 4차년도 중학생 2,275명의 데이터를 분석하였다. 분석 자료는 SPSS 25.0 프로그램을 사용하여 기술통계분석, 신뢰도분석, 상관관계분석 및 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 스마트폰 과의존과 공격성은 정적상관을 보였으며, 그릿과 공격성은 부적상관을 보였다. 둘째, 스마트폰 과의존과 공격성 간의 관계에서 그릿은 부분매개효과를 나타내었다. 이러한 결과는 청소년들의 스마트폰 과의존과 공격성 수준을 낮추기 위한 보호·동기 요인으로 매개할 수 있는 그릿을 고려한 교육프로그램 개발 및 자아존중감 증진 활동의 실천적 개입방안을 논의하였다.
The purpose of this study was conducted to test mediating effects of grit in the relationship between smartphone overdependence and aggression in adolescents. The data of 2,275 in the Year 4 of the Korea Children and Youth Panel Survey (KCYPS) 2018 were analyzed. The analyzed data was subjected to technical statistical analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis using the SPSS 25.0 program. The results of this study are as follows. First, smartphone overdependence and Aggression showed a positive correlation, grit and Aggression showed a negative correlation. The purpose of this study was conducted to test mediating effects of grit in the relationship between aggression and smartphone addiction in adolescents. These results discussed practical interventions in the development of educational programs and promotion activities that Considering grit, can be mediated by trigger and protect factors to lower overuse of smartphone overdependence and level of aggression.
