Peat moss refers to the state just before the moss is carbonized in the ground. It is a brownish substance that has been preserved to the extent that the shape of the moss is intact. Since this substance is rich in fulvic acid, it is useful for agriculture, and especially in Russia, when oil is spilled into the sea, it has been confirmed that it is administered on the oil to naturally decompose the oil. A few such peat moss are found in Gangneung in Korea. In 1930, during excavation work to increase agricultural production in the Soviet Union, it was discovered that soil containing fulvic acid was helpful for crop development. The torrefaction machine is a device that transforms organic waste into a brown substance such as peat moss by drying it at a high temperature. The torrefaction facility consists of a heater, agitator, cutter, vacuum pump and bag filter. Because torrefied organic waste changes in small amounts while maintaining nutrients, moisture absorption is good and odors can be removed. Therefore, it is effective for the maturation of livestock manure and removal of odors.
