개인의 종교성 잠재 프로파일 유형화와 절망사 예측요인에 관한 연구

A Study on the Types of Individual Religious Latent Profiles and Predictors of The Deaths of Despair

본 연구는 개인의 종교성을 유형화하고, 유형별 절망사 예측요인의 차이를 살펴보았다. 이를 위해, 한국종합사회조사(KGSS) 2018년도에 응답한 417명의 자료를 분석에 활용하여 잠재 프로파일 분석을 하였고 이를 통해 나눠진 유형 간 절망사 예측 요인 차이를 검증하기 위해 One-way ANOVA를 실시하였다. 주요결과는 첫째, 개인을 대상으로 한 종교성의 유형은 4개의 하위집단으로 유형화되었으며 각각 ‘참여지향 신앙형’(21.3%), ‘개인신앙 지향형(44.1%)’, ‘균형진 신앙형(24.7%)’, ‘온건한 개인신앙형(9.8%)’이라고 명명하였다. 전체 연구대상의 약 54%가 신앙공동체의 모임에 참석하는 빈도가 낮고 상대적으로 개인적으로 기도하는 빈도가 비교적 높은 특성을 보였으며, 하위집단 중 가장 큰 비율을 나타내는 집단 역시 ‘개인신앙 지향형’으로 나타났다. 두 번째, 개인의 종교성 잠재계층에 따른 낙관성의 차이에서 ‘참여지향 신앙형’이 ‘개인신앙 지향형’보다 높게 나타났다. 세 번째, 개인의 종교성 하위집단 간 자살사고와 관련해서는 유의미한 차이가 없었다. 마지막으로 전반적인 삶의 행복 정도는 개인의 종교성 하위집단간 차이를 보였는데, 균형진 집단이 개인적인 기도생활을 지향하는 집단보다 높게 나타났다. 이를 바탕으로 개인의 종교성과 절망사 예측요인의 관계에 대해 논의 및 제언하였다.

This study reinterprets the deaths of Nadab and Abihu in Leviticus 10 within the context of the narrative of Leviticus 8-10. In Leviticus 8-9, the mediators serve as a connection between God and the priests and between God and the people. The requirement of the mediators is that they perform their work “as the LORD has commanded.” The text emphasizes it by repeatedly stating that each of the mediators’ actions was “as the LORD had commanded.” (8:9, 13, 17, 21, 29, 36; 9:6, 10, 21) However, there are two people who did something that “he had not commanded them”: Nadab and Abihu. Their judgment was the result of their disobedience to LORD's command, which disqualified them as mediators. Thus, through immediate judgment, God prevented them from participating in the second phase of the eighth-day sacrifice, the sacrifice for the people.
